Teesta Barrage Bangladesh

The Teesta Barrage, built on the Teesta River in northern Bangladesh, is a major structure of the Teesta Irrigation Project. It is the largest irrigation project in Bangladesh. Under this, irrigation facilities are provided in 5 lakh 40 thousand hectares of land in Nilphamari, Rangpur and Dinajpur districts.
